I used it to diagnose the problems on my daughters Nissan Maxima. It showed two codes. One for a bad camshaft position sensor and one for a misfire on cylinder 3. I replaced the sensor and the #3 cylinder coil pack. Car runs great now. It’s very simple to operate. It’s worth every penny. I also bought the five foot extension cable for it. I can stand up outside of the car and run scans.

Excellent small code scanner. I reset BOTH of the annoying check engine lights on my 2011 Wrangler and my wife’s 2012 Liberty cause by the gas caps being loose. It not only gives you the code, but it has the description of what the issue is given right under the code and adds “very small leak” to indicate the level of seriousness. It also reminds you to turn off the engine in order to reset the check engine light. All around awesome tool!
scanner works great—a little hard to use at first as instructions are basically non-existent–had to go on-line—Product support stinks–sent 2 e-mails–nothing—called for “chat” assistance–worthless—was told to call a phone #—-no answer–had to figure out usage by myself—-background—I work for a large dealership and “emission”10-15 cars /day—I’ve done a lot of drive cycles in 9 years–so machine is pretty good, the back-up sucks—also ,have been using “Launch” products and like them too—I still have some questions about the Autel, but gave up trying for answers
